What is the CEC?

The Lighthouse's Creative Entrepreneurs Club, is Scotland's largest and most active network for the creative industries with over 2600 members. We host a mixture of networking events, inspirational speakers and professional development workshops to ensure that your ear is to the ground and your business (new or established) is armed with everything it needs.

"Our team found the event extremely insightful. We were buzzing around the office in the morning bursting with ideas."
—CEC Member

Our members are made up of young fast growing businesses, the UK's most established creative organisations, students and graduates. Their disciplines range from product, graphic and textile designers to architects, marketing gurus, media moguls and photographers. This is the place to meet your next mentor, client, employer or partner and will ensure that your address book is packed to the brim with new contacts.

The CEC hosts around 20 events and 10 workshops each year, ultimately providing that wee bit of escapism needed from your office, home or university on a regular basis. It runs on a self sufficient basis - meaning that its programme is driven with the sole objective of providing inspiration and motivation to its members.

Membership means that you'll be joining the network for the creative industries and will have a voice in an ongoing forum for discussion that is shaping a global industry and defining Scotland's increasingly important place within it.

To find out more about becoming a member of the club check out the Members section or contact us at cec@thelighthouse.co.uk, or call 0141 225 8424.
